One of our most beautiful cross country ski trails is Tranquility. You access it from Roundabout. The route begins as a gentle north traverse, then drops through a forest of widely spaced trees along the ridge above Roaring Creek drainage. This area was logged this year which left us with a wide open ski line that is great for practicing turns on not too steep terrain. The trail then turns back and traverses south along open slopes with majestic views of Nason Ridge and the many mountain ranges to the northeast. It is a beautiful peaceful ski that meets the snowmobile route about 1 mile below High Camp. The total trip is about 3 miles of lovely ski terrain.
