Unseasonably cool weather the last few weeks means winter hasn't left High Camp yet. The snow on North facing slopes has been light and fluffy lately, making repeated runs on slopes like Wild Bill Hill irresistible. Longer days mean it's easier to make those extended treks up into the high meadows. The views from Baldy on a blue sky day and the trip back down through soft spring corn-snow make this time of year hard to beat at High Camp, so don't put your winter gear away just yet.
