   12th ANNUAL FALL SEASON  OPENS FRIDAY,AUGUST 15  
 

High Camp will reopen for its 12th annual Fall Season on Friday, August 15th, and operate daily through Sunday, October 12th. Make your plans to visit and enjoy outstanding day hiking and high lakes fishing in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness Area, plus mountain biking on our new marked trail system. (mountain biking is prohibited within the wilderness area)

  
   FAMILY WEEKEND-FREE TRANSPORTATION SPECIAL!  
 

Come to High Camp on the weekend of August 22-24 and receive free transportation for all members of your party! Families will save in two ways as kids, ages 5-14, already stay free in the cabins on that weekend.

  Thank you to everyone who made both the Mountain Bike Trail Party and the Summer Work Party so much fun and
so productive.

We had a great group of avid mountain bikers from Das Rad Haus and Trail Washington help us develop an amazing section of singletrack that takes the rider winding down through boulder fields and along a ridge line full fo great views.

At the Summer Work Party we had many returning friends who helped us build a new deck on Bluebell, rebuild our essential wood shed, clear trails, clean and paint.

Last but not least, thank you to all the dogs who watched us work when they weren't busy playing or napping. 		 
   3RD ANNUAL BEAT THE DINER HIKE- OCTOBER  2  
Join us on our annual challenging trek from High Camp to the 59er diner on Thursday, October 2nd! The trip is 14 miles, of which 3 or 4 miles is off-trail. The diner closes at 8 pm and our goal is to get there in time to buy everyone dinner. Participants must be guests at High Camp on Wednesday. Gear can be moved to the parking lot and put in cars by other staff during the hike, or if participants are still staying at High Camp on Thursday night, we will bring people back up the mountain. Party size limit is 12 due to wilderness area restrictions.

 WHAT ABOUT DOGS?
Dogs are always welcome during the Fall Season.
During the winter season, dogs are permitted anytime prior to December 10 and after April 10. A maximum of 2 dogs are also allowed on most Sunday-Thursday nights.
