   12th ANNUAL FALL SEASON  OPENS FRIDAY,AUGUST 15  
 

High Camp will reopen for its 12th annual Fall Season on Friday, August 15th, and operate daily through Sunday, October 12th. Make your plans to visit and enjoy outstanding day hiking and high lakes fishing in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness Area, plus mountain biking on our new marked trail system. (mountain biking is prohibited within the wilderness area)

  
   MID SUMMER TRAIL PARTY! JULY 12 and 13  
 

Be a part of the first-ever summer High Camp Trail Building Party on July 12 and 13! Come up this summer and help us do some maintenance on our existing trail system and expand our new network of mountain biking trails.

Each work party participant receives a voucher valid for three nights non-holiday mid-week lodging. Our work parties are a good chance to visit High Camp in the summer, spend the weekend in the mountains with a great group of people, and with this work party, you will have the chance to be involved in designing and building the first few trails of what will be a really exciting mountain biking playground.

   SPACE AVAILABLE - FALL WOODCUTTING WEEKENDS  
  Join us this year and help out at one of our very popular fall weekend work parties at High Camp! Wood Cutting weekends are set for October 18-19 and October 25-26. Each work party participant receives a voucher valid for three nights non-holiday mid-week lodging. Weekend jobs include cutting, splitting (we own three hydraulic splitters), stacking, and driving. We supply main dish for Saturday pot-luck, and a great "High Camp" breakfast, plus heat the hot tub for Saturday night and provide cabins for everyone.

Our Summer Work Party on July 26-27 is already filled, however we are happy to start a waiting list in case of cancellations.

 WHAT ABOUT DOGS?
Dogs are always welcome during the Fall Season.
During the winter season, dogs are permitted anytime prior to December 10 and after April 10. A maximum of 2 dogs are also allowed on most Sunday-Thursday nights.
 3RD ANNUAL BEAT THE DINER HIKE- OCTOBER  2
Join us for a beautiful 14 mile hike from Scottish Lakes High Camp to the 59er Diner on Thursday, October 2nd! The trip is 14 miles, of which 3 or 4 miles is off-trail. The diner closes at 8 pm and our goal is to get there in time to buy everyone dinner. Participants must be guests at High Camp on Wednesday. Gear can be moved to the parking lot and put in cars by other staff during the hike, or if participants are still staying at High Camp on Thursday night, we will bring people back up the mountain. Party size limit is 12 due to wilderness area restrictions.
