Join us this year and help out at one of our very popular summer or fall weekend work parties at High Camp! Our Summer Work Party is scheduled for July 26-27 and the Fall Wood Cutting Weekends are set for October 18-19 and October 25-26.

Each work party participant receives a voucher valid for three nights mid-week lodging (transportation not included) during either Fall or Winter seasons. Vouchers are good for up to two years, and because they are fully transferable, also make great gifts for friends and family members who love mountain adventures. (please note holiday weeks are excluded)

High Camp work parties are actually a lot of fun! At the SUMMER WEEKEND, participants may choose from three general job areas: (1) trail building and maintenance (2) painting and (3) basic building and repair. On the FALL WEEKENDS, the focus is woodcutting, with a variety of jobs available, including chain-saw cutting, hydraulic splitting, driving and stacking. Each team is led by a member of the Scottish Lakes staff.

Everyone receives their own cabin for Saturday night. In addition there is a pot-luck dinner, with the main dish supplied by High Camp, and we even provide breakfast for everyone on Sunday morning. Work party members assemble in our parking lot at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday morning and are on their way home by 5:00 p.m. Sunday.
