FALL SEASON is a beautiful time of year at High Camp!

We offer our guests great weather, spectacular scenery and wonderful fall colors. The show begins with the wildflower display on McCue Ridge in August, continuing in September with ripe huckleberries and autumn-hued vine maples, and ending with the incredible display of golden Larches in the Upper High Meadows in October!

Each of our well-marked trails leads hikers to a different Alpine Lakes Wilderness destination, including high lakes, open ridges, summits and remote passes, alpine meadows and rocky basins.

  We still have excellent availability on both couples and group cabins for all weekends, with the exception of the 4rth weekend in August which is sold out. Midweek availability is also excellent.

LARCH WEEKENDS - October 4 and October 11 Optional Saturday guided loop trip up McCue Ridge, through the Hanging Gardens, up into the High Meadows (with an optional scramble of Tamarack) and down past each of the three Scottish Lakes.

 WHAT ABOUT DOGS?
Dogs are always welcome during the Fall Season.

During the winter season, dogs are permitted anytime prior to December 10 and after April 10. A maximum of 2 dogs are also allowed on most Sunday-Thursday nights.
