You do not want to miss the fun as we celebrate the 30th birthday of High Camp and the opening of another Winter Season. It is hard to believe that it was thirty years ago when Bill and Peg Stark first established the "Scottish Lakes Nomad Camp."

Peg even plans to be there for the festivities to help us relive some of those special memories of these past 30 years of back country adventures (and misadventures).

The fun and festivities are set for Saturday evening, November 22, and will include food, grog, story telling and music. There are even rumors of a 1970-era theme dance, complete with disco ball and prizes (good prizes) for best and worst dressed, best High Camp "tall" (but true) tales, and more. In the true spirit of High Camp, both then and now, the party is open to all ages.

   7TH ANNUAL WINTER TRAIL MARKING PARTY  
  Our 7th annual Winter Trail Marking Party is on the calendar for Monday, November 24, and Tuesday, November 25. Join us as we work in small teams to ski and remark our vast network of trails just in time for another great winter! We will provide you with a free cabin Monday night, plus a great Italian dinner and other libations. The event is a great way to greet the snow season, and also to burn off some calories in anticipation of Turkey Day.

 WHAT ABOUT DOGS?

Dogs are always welcome during the Fall Season.
During the winter season, dogs are permitted anytime prior to December 10 and after April 10. A maximum of 2 dogs are also allowed on most Sunday-Thursday nights.
