COME SEE THE FALL COLORS! $99  MIDWEEK SPECIAL!

The mornings are crisp here in the mountains, but the afternoons are still sunny and warm. The huckleberry bushes are all glowing bright red, loaded with tasty blueberries and the Larch trees are changing from green to gold. Don't miss out on a trip to the high country this fall!

Total cost per person is just $99 and includes full transportation and two nights lodging. Offer is valid for Tuesday, October 7, and Wednesday, October 8. Add Thursday night for an additional $39.

   HIGH CAMP'S 30th BIRTHDAY BASH!!!

Don't miss the fun as we celebrate High Camp's 30th birthday and the opening of our Winter Season!  It's almost hard to believe that it was thirty years ago when Bill and Peg Stark first established the "Scottish Lakes Nomad Camp".  Join us as we highlight some of the special memories of these past thirty years of back country adventures (and misadventures).

The fun and festivities are set for Saturday night, November 22nd and will include food, grog, story telling and music.  There are even rumors of a 70's theme dance, complete with disco ball and prizes (good prizes) for best and worst dressed, best High Camp "tall" (but true) tales, and more.  In the true spirit of High Camp, both then and now, the party is open to all ages.

Make your reservations today and be a part of something really special!  To help celebrate thirty years, all lodging and transportation rates will be discounted by 30% for the weekend of November 21-23.

3RD ANNUAL BEAT THE DINER HIKE- OCTOBER  2
Join us on our annual challenging trek from High Camp to the 59er diner on Thursday, October 2nd! The trip is 14 miles, of which 3 or 4 miles is off-trail. The diner closes at 8 pm and our goal is to get there in time to buy everyone dinner. Participants must be guests at High Camp on Wednesday. Gear can be moved to the parking lot and put in cars by other staff during the hike, or if participants are still staying at High Camp on Thursday night, we will bring people back up the mountain. Party size limit is 12 due to wilderness area restrictions.

SPACE AVAILABLE FOR FALL WOODCUTTING PARTY
Join us this year and help out at one of our very popular fall weekend work parties at High Camp! Our Wood Cutting weekend on October 18-19 still has room for several more people.

Each work party participant receives a voucher valid for three nights non-holiday mid-week lodging. Weekend jobs include cutting, splitting (we own three hydraulic splitters), stacking, and driving. We supply the main dish for Saturday pot-luck, and a great "High Camp" breakfast on Sunday, plus heat the hot tub for Saturday night and provide cabins for everyone.

Our other Wood Cutting weekend (Oct 25-26) is already filled, however we are happy to start a waiting list in case of cancellations.

Grab some friends and/or family members and come to High Camp for a memorable winter experience.
