Winter Transportation

During the winter we meet our guests in the parking lot and load their gear into chained up suburbans. We then drive up as far as we have plowed the road, usually 4 miles. At the mid mountain point we then transfer gear and guests to snowmobiles for the rest of the trip to High Camp. The whole exciting trip is 8 1/2 miles with an elevation gain of 3000 feet; it usually takes about an hour. Be sure you come dressed warm and ready for the snowmobile ride! (more…)
